Tuesday Trickles – #3

A Tuesday feature in response to Jackies Thinking Corner – Tuesday Trickles.

Face Adversity with Prayers and Faith!

No matter how strong we think we are, there will be a time when stress gets overwhelming and we desperately wish we had somewhere to hide.

We wish we have somewhere to take refuge from the storms and waves of life. We feel all alone and dying silently in distress.

I want to remind you that you are not alone. There is a God who is ready to hear you if you are willingly to pour your heartaches to HIM. He understands you and will give you strength to keep keeping on in the face of adversity.

God understands what we are going through. His Word promises He will help us in times of trouble. When adversity strikes, God offers the refuge and strength we need to weather life’s storms. Psalm 31: (Dear Christian Readers, kindly help in giving some scriptures to back up this post) Thank you. 🙂

Focus on God more than the situation that is prevailing in your life because HE is the only solution to your situation.

No matter the problems that has enveloped you, don’t feel like you are simply hanging on.

Don’t fight the battle by yourself.  Instead, put all your trust in God who offers peace and strength, victory and triumph in every human warfare.

Dare to pray and do all within your human power to exonerate yourself of that guilt and difficulty. Wear the armour of faith as you trust God to take control.

Peace and Love!

  1. You know it’s ironic that I have been processing Psalm 31 for a couple days now for the reasons you mentioned above. Verse 5 – “I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God.” Verse 7 – “I will be glad and rejoice in Your unfailing love, for You have seen my troubles and You care about the anguish of my soul.” Verse 16 – “Let Your favor shine on Your servant. In Your unfailing love, rescue me.” Verse 22 – “Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to Him…” Verse 24 – “So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!” Verse 24 is a repeat of the very words that God gave to Joshua. Joshua 1:9 – “This is My command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

  2. Whatever the trouble is say Thank you to God for helping you. Thank you for blessing you with the solution, Thank you for solving the problem, Thank you, Thank you and Thank you…even before the trouble is fixed. 🙂

    1. That’s right! Thanking God in advance is believing that He’s done it already. It’s believing that your prayers will be answered. Great point to consider here. Thanks for sharing this to us. I appreciate you, Deb! Blessings and a nice day to you. 🙂
