*Den Little Havfrue – The Little Mermaid*

Den Lille Havfrue known in English as The Little Mermaid is a fairy tale by the famous Danish Author, Hans Christian Andersen.  This is the story of a young Mermaid that was willing to give up her life and identity in the sea to gain a Human Soul.   It is a popular fairy tale which has been adapted to animated films and performed in musical theatres.

Situated in the heart of Copenhagen is the Tivoli Gardens, which is known as simply Tivoli.  This is the famous Amusement Park and Leisure Garden in Copenhagen.  The park was opened on August 15th 1843, and is the second oldest operating amusement park in the world today.

      1. What can I possibly say? I guess, it churns out interesting activities that the people kept clamouring for and coming back to. Plus good management and maintenance… It’s really a beehive of activities in the summer. A tourist attraction! 🙂
