Every second, every minute, every hour counts

Every day is a new time slot

Yesterday belong to bedtime stories

Time is ticking away, pacing and racing

My lofty dreams are yet to breathe

I must run a race as time pace by

Forward ever. I am marching on

In my smiling dimpled face

Moving with swift silent pace

Day by day, I crave to embrace

The golden fleece at the end of the race

I pray to go from grace to grace

Never to falter or be disgraced

I hope that in this space and place

My sojourn will be good to leave a trace

On this track called the human race
