Echoes of My Neighbourhood – #8

Here are the  Echoes of My Neighbourhood., a fun challenge by Jacqueline.  Every Thursday Jackie invites us to share photos of our neighbourhood and link them to her blog. Will you let us take a peek at your wonderful space in the world?

This week, the photos are from Lego-land Billund Resort in Denmark.

The legoland Billund Resort opened in June, 1968 in Billund Denmark. The Park is located next to the Lego factory.  And also located close to Denmark’s second busiest Airport, Billund Airport.

Since the opening, more than 50 million guests have visited the Park. This makes Lego-land the largest tourist attraction in Denmark outside of Copenhagen.

The Legoland Parks that have since been built are modelled upon Legoland Billund, most noticeably the Miniland area which is made up of millions of Lego bricks.

Peace and Love!
