Today on View of the Day, I present to you – Norway. Norway is a Scandinavian Country with Bergen as the second largest city. The city is known as “the city fjord” and is surrounded by mountains. Bergen is surrounded by seven mountains which overlooks the sea.
Bergen is an international centre for aquaculture, shipping, offshore petroleum industry and subsea technology. It is also a national centre for higher education, tourism and finance. Bergen’s Port is Norway’s busiest in both freight and passengers with over 300 cruise ship a year, bringing nearly half a million passengers to Bergen. (Source Wikipedia)

Bergen is a great city. Twice I have been there and it has barely rained at all. I loved browsing all the fabulous antique shops, although the merchants do like to charge tourists way too much!!!

That’s nice. I didn’t have enough time to cruise round the shops. Was busy on the mountain, mesmerised by the aerial view of the beautiful landscape. lol.

Instagram is very useful for finding beautiful photos, however nothing beats seeing something for yourself. I’ve almost stopped instagramming and started living in beautiful moments. Almost. 😉

Glad you like the photos I share. These were pulled out from my archives. Most of them were taken from a vantage position in the tram on the mountain. Aerial views are usually breathtaking and I agree Bergen has an enchanting view. I’m learning details from this course. love it. 🙂
