Three Day Quote Challenge – Day 3

Three awesome bloggers nominated me a while ago for this challenge but I was pressed for time hence the delay.  This is a general acceptance to all the nominations and I hope it’s okay. Many thanks to you Dear Irene of Walking The Path, for this nomination. So sorry it took me ages to pull through.

To my blogger friend, Shiva of  The Shiva’s Ponder, I appreciate your kind thoughts.

And to you Dear Millie Thom of Sons of Kings Trilogy, thanks a mil for this challenge.

3 day quote challenge

The Rules are:

  1.     Post three consecutive days.
  2.     You can pick one or three quotes per day.
  3.     Challenge three different bloggers per day.

Day 3 Quote – April 11, 2016

The past is gone. There is nothing that can retrieve it back. Whatever is gone is gone so there is no need to keep staring at what should have been. Don’t keep whinning about past mistakes.

Let the past alone and look forward to the future. It’s not so easy, but that is the naked truth. Learn from the lessons of past mistakes and embrace today with your experience. Plan and prepare well for a better future!

My Nominees are:

YOU! My esteemed Readers, Followers and Likers – Please feel free to take up this challenge. It’s  not a difficult task, rather it’s fun to tackle.

So, this is open to any one who would love to take it up. Just mention that I nominated you and give me a pingback so I can see your post.

Peace and Love!

    1. Thank you Shiva! I like the quote because experience has shown that dwelling too much on the past especially a negative past, is a total waste of time. It’s more refreshing to look forward to the future… 🙂

  1. A great quote and one that is very true. It does no good whatsoever to linger in the past for too long. Unfortunately – or perhaps, fortunately – as we age we accumulate a great many memories, both fond ones and others not quite so wonderful. It’s had not to dwell on them sometimes, as so many things can trigger them. But positive and forward thinking are the key to present day happiness.

    1. Aptly stated. We need the past to stay in the present, but to be conscious that we do not dwell too long in history. There is the need to make history, again, this time a better one as the case may be.
