Prophecy – The Daily Prompt!

“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. Love rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth, love bears all things” I Corinthians 13:2; 6-7.

Love is the key that open all closed doors. God is love and in everything we do, let the motive behind it be LOVE.

Just go ahead and love people. Did I hear you say it is not possible. Well, you might be right, but practise loving people. Accept people you meet in your daily interactions without any prejudices or hate in your heart. You may not approve of what they do, and they may not even like you but walking in love should be a lifestyle. You shouldn’t compromise that no matter the circumstance.

I love you and mean it. It works well when it starts with I and you, not the other person. Accept my gratitude for reading this and kindly continue sowing seeds of love. If you don’t reap the fruits, the world will.

Even if no one remembers you, God, the Unconditional Lover, will remember you.

In response to the Daily Prompt – Prophecy.

Peace and Love!

  1. This is fabulous! I read that same verse before writing my piece–and started with an acrostic…but it just didn’t work, so I posted the haiku. Anyway, I really hear the Spirit in your message–and do I need it!! I have SO Much trouble loving as freely as Jesus would like…but the way you put it (gently) is “so God”–to just “practice”…like I would practice anything else; and it will hopefully get easier, as I’m continually transformed from glory to glory, the process of sanctification. Great post, Sister–now I must Follow so I won’t miss anything He sends to you, meant for the likes of me 🙂 God bless you!!

    1. I am speechless. I am happy that you felt this way with this post. You see, I hardly post these Doctrinal write-ups. I only do when I am led. I am a Christian who believes in the efficacy of prayers… and in the WORD. I was led to start this daily feature only last Friday and leave it open. Perhaps, it will touch someone when they come across the posts. When I visited your blog, I connected with you at once in the spirit. It just clicked and I know I will be reading posts that will rejuvenate and refresh my spirit. Thank you for the follow. I am humbled by your wise words. Enjoy blessings from ABOVE, my Dear ‘Big Sister’ in the LORD. Xxx 🙂

      1. Isn’t this wonderful–I can hardly tell you! In this season God has seen fit to give me little sisters from afar, yet close in heart. Although I have 2 younger sisters–blood relations–we’ve been estranged for many years. I am very touched that God finds me worthy to be a big sister to ‘strangers’. Yes, the WORD and the efficacy of prayer are both powerful–to teach, and uplift our spirits, and as weapons against our (defeated, but annoying) enemy 🙂 Just so you know, not all my posts are faith-based–I write secular poetry as well, and you may or may not care for them as much… May you be blessed–pressed down, shaken together and flowing over 🙂

      2. Happy is the word for my feelings right now! I saw your spectrum of diverse postings… and I have love for all genres of poetry whether secular or otherwise. I embrace all kinds and post all kinds too so everyone will find something they can relate to. May Joy and Happiness fill your heart this day and always. 🙂 🙂
