Devotional Nuggets – #46

What is your feeling frequency this Tuesday morning? Are you feeling happy, unhappy, sad, anxious or depressed?

Or do you have what I call an indifferent attitude, not good or bad, but hanging just there waiting for anything that goes for the day?

Well, you need to take a step back. Understand that you are the lead actor in the movie of your life and you direct this movie as you desire it to be. You are ultimately the sole creator of your own feelings, good or bad.

When negative thoughts arise based on past experiences or future worries, as they sometimes will, realize that these are simply issues your mind (not you) is working through. Separate yourself from your mind’s thinking.

Real life happiness comes from appreciating God’s love and grace in our lives. At least the grace of a new breathe everyday. Try to ginger up your feeling frequency and stay on the happy mode… it’s difficult at times to pull oneself together espcially when pushed down by the heavy weight life throws on us occassionally.

I pray that God will be the shelter in your storm, the light in your valley, and the compass for every journey you undertake. He will help you keep your life together when it feels like you might fall apart from worries. When circumstances make you feel stuck, He will help you find a way out. When your heart feels broken and your future seems hopeless, He will heal it and give you brand new hope. There is nothing in this world that He will not walk you through especially when you work and walk with HIM.

On this note, it will do you more good to stay on the side of life. Stay on the hopeful lane. Stay with absolute belief that the day will progress and open up a new path of happiness for you.  And of course stay on the path of your calling in God!!!

Stay blessed and remain in the Lord!

Peace and Love!
