“It’s not very easy to grow up into a woman. We are always taught, almost bombarded, with ideals of what we should be at every age in our lives: “This is what you should wear at age twenty”, “That is what you must act like at age twenty-five”, “This is what you should be doing when you are seventeen.” … I want to be able to say, that there are four things admirable for a woman to be, at any age! Whether you are four or forty-four or nineteen! It’s always wonderful to be elegant, it’s always fashionable to have grace, it’s always glamorous to be brave, and it’s always important to own a delectable perfume! Yes, wearing a beautiful fragrance is in style at any age!” – C. JoyBell C.
“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don’t even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It’s time to put an end to this. It’s time for us to let ourselves be loved.” ― C. JoyBell C
“You’ve got this life and while you’ve got it, you’d better kiss like you only have one moment, try to hold someone’s hand like you will never get another chance to, look into people’s eyes like they’re the last you’ll ever see, watch someone sleeping like there’s no time left, jump if you feel like jumping, run if you feel like running, play music in your head when there is none, and eat cake like it’s the only one left in the world!” ― C. JoyBell C.
“I think that we are like stars. Something happens to burst us open; but when we burst open and think we are dying; we’re actually turning into a supernova. And then when we look at ourselves again, we see that we’re suddenly more beautiful than we ever were before!” ― C. JoyBell
I like the first quote a lot ‘cos I find it hilarious… about women. Well, the importance of wearing a good perfume cannot be over-emphasised both for men and women.
It’s the natural thing to do as part of a personal hygiene process. It should be a lifestyle… a habit by everyone. I particularly took note of that this summer and I could perceive very delectable and beautiful fragrances from people especially the womenfolk. Also, for some men with style who care about themselves.
Perfumes in whatever kind permeates the air with a ‘sweet’ smell. Pls do not try those very strong ones that are offensive to the nose, lol. Those pungent ones can be sickening.
How do you feel when you wear the right perfume? How do you feel when someone acknowledges you for your smell?
I can assure you that it does feel good and give a degree of self-confidence and respect. I love to spoil myself with perfumeries… I just love the idea. It’s a way to appreciate me. 🙂
Oh! I love it when you are well perfumed and sitting next to me! Got the drift?
Peace and Love!
