It has been like forever

When I felt your presence

When I perceived your familiar scent

Mixing with my warm blood

I miss the soft echoes of your voice

Serenading me to wish

That this moment never ends

Your grip begging me to love you

 In whispers every day and night

Reminding me of that promise

We both made to each other

To live, loving without ceasing

To cherish and to uphold

The giggles of our hearts

I miss your tenderness

I miss your sweet laughter

I miss the bedtime stories

I miss the rattling of pots and pans

I miss the tears we share
