The Daily Prompt – Transformation!

Find your path, the tiny voice whispered

Rediscover your hidden treasure

Smother away the deadly patches of yesterday

Crawl out of the belly of gloom

Come forth out of your struggles

I replayed my inner voice again and again

And that subtle voice called me out of slumber

I pulled away the manacles binding me to the stake

And I emerged from under my clenched skin

Discarded the scary claws of failure

I looked up to the morning sun

And behold

The urge for transformation kissed my brow

I found it

I found the things I’ve ever clamoured for

I found my voice

I found self-love

The love

To weave together my own stories

The bitter-sweet echoes of my life’s trajectories
