Devotional Nuggets – #50

Wow! I have experienced a lull here in the last four months… But the good news is that I am coming back. Yes, I am happy that I will return with this daily feature, which I started some months ago before I took a break in September. I am experiencing an overwhelming situation that leaves me with no time to carry out my usual activities here.

However, I’m adjusting and trying to see how best to manage the challenges/situations and still carry out my blogging routines. And did I tell you that I even found it difficult to meditate? The reason I couldn’t write anything too because the outcome of my early morning devotion is what I pen down here. So, I am elated that I could do this again because I get my energy for the day as I spend some time with my GOD.

Well, let’s kick-start the day and warm up ourselves with today’s words and blessings.

A lot of people have fallen short of attaining greatness or fulfilling their destiny because they limit themselves to their own limitations.

Get off that hook of limitation!
Stop living to please or prove a thing or two to any man.

But unless the Lord builds you to become great, you wake up early in vain to make yourself great.

Our Father God who deposited that greatness in you knows how to bring that greatness to fulfilment in His time. And it’s to those who meditate daily on His Word and obey His commandments.

He can NEVER put those who trust in Him to shame. Because he makes a way when you are almost giving up… HE always makes a way out of that difficult situation as he does with me.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Psalm 46: 1-3

Are you facing uncertainties and difficult situations today like I recently experienced? You may feel as though the Lord has deserted you, but actually He wants you to turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Memorize the above verses today, and ask the Lord to plant them in your spirit. He wants to help you as he is doing with me at the moment, regardless of the problems you are facing. Don’t be afraid because the Lord is in control, and He will not give you more than you can bear.

Start praising Him for the answers and He will cause those answers to come. He is too faithful to fail you. Believe this and you will get an amazing result.

I can attest to this with my personal life. Once I stop keying into HIS PRESENCE, a certain energy leaves me and I become so weary… It has happened not once or twice and it’s a reason I am writing this feature again. It gives me a sense of satisfaction as I indulge in quiet moments in HIS PRESENCE.

May the Lord bless you more as you join me to Praise HIM.

Peace and Love!
