The Daily Prompt – Echo!

Outside, are charming ensembles

Of glittering lights

As the streets adorn awesome decorations

Vibrant colours of red and white

Dazzle and gladdens my eyes

The shops are abuzz with people

As they settle for packages and gifts

Neatly wrapped in colourful ribbons

I am intrigued by the Christmas carols

And the Christmas parties that beckons

There is happiness and cheer in the air

Yeah, it’s the season once again

The crisp night and winter lights

The echoes of December 

And

Christmastime
