Weekly Photo Challenge – Anticipation!

This week, WP Michelle W. asked us to share a photo that says anticipation. “A candid shot of your niece, eager to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. A photo from the trip you’d long dreamed of. An image of something you hope to have one day, or something that was worth the wait. For those who celebrate Christmas, how about a photo of the stockings hung by the chimney with care?”

Christmas is a time and season of expectations. There is so much frenzy in the air and people anticipate pleasant surprises from their loved ones as they wait eagerly to receive their Christmas presents… And everyone expects to have the fondest memories of the season.

Here is my entry for the photo challenge: All photos are in anticipation of Christmas. It’s all because of the season! Enjoy the views!!

*The traditional Danish Christmas Calendar Candle. Countdown to Christmas*

*Shopping time in anticipation of Christmas*

*Christmas decorations with shoppers – all for Christmas*

*Stockings all because of Christmas*

*Dinnertime with friends – waiting for the invited guests*

*All for the festive season – Dinner with friends*

Submitted for the Weekly Photo Challenge – Anticipation.

Peace and Love!

      2. Yeah not a problem at all, the candle is typically Danish. Lol. It’s been busy times with everyone trying to put finishing touches to plans . before Sunday – Christmas. So I do understand. 🙂 Stay well and have a truly awesome Yuletide. Hugs back Dearie. Xo

  1. Great photos of your Christmas celebrations. It’s very warm here (Australia) so I love seeing how different things can be in other places. I’ve been lucky enough to have a Danish Christmas experience and really enjoyed it all. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Great to hear you’ve experienced the Danish Christmas. So you must have enjoyed some ‘ris alamande’. 🙂 It’s such an interesting tradition. Oh wish it were possible to send some warmth here, lol. The cold is biting so hard at this time. Haha. Thank you so much for leaving this lovely comment. Enjoy the joys of the season. Hugs. 🙂

    1. I lige made… Hahaha… Now someone knows the Danish Christmas tradition. Really, that will make a good post. Thanks for the idea. I hope I can do a post on them before the Christmas. I like æbleskiver but not the Glogg. Many thanks for the follow too. Deeply appreciated. Tusind tak. 🙂
