On the impulse to take an evening stroll
Swayed by the winds rustling thru’ the trees
And the heat from the summer sun
I took a step, then two strides
A strange whirring sound cuts across my ears
I halted my steps to behold a flock of birds
A mixed of black birds flew in unison
Then the white birds followed in rows
Synchronized
They seem to be wary of predators
A fascinating drama stirred up in the air
Thrilled by this piercing trill
My mind began to drift apart
Should I continue to meander?
Or watch this rare spectacle of complex semantics
The strange churring trill of the black birds
Pulsating the lurking dusk
Adrift from my erstwhile plan
I watched the most impressive mystical bird dance

Hi Simmone, I have a strong aversion to horror or creeping tales. So sorry, but any new posts devoid of that, call my attention. Thanks. 🙂
