The Skyscapes!

The skyscapes look wonderful, isn’t it? I tell you, I can’t but admire the skies every day. Whenever I look up, I see a blissful cotton of clouds swaying to the rhythm of the day.

 

I realise that the sky is ever changing. It’s progressive. The shades change every minute to very peculiar patterns. And the shapes keep reshaping, as the clouds move slowing in absolute freedom and ease.

 

Then when I steady my gaze on the fluffy cloud, my imaginations begins to run wild. I begin to think that there are even faces on the clouds, shapes of objects and of animals.

 

And while I’m still wondering what’s up there, the blue cloud begins to disperse again slowly. Gradually a golden hue appears dotting the face of the sky. The sun’s glow begins to dim, signally that darkness is looming and the sun is about to take a rest for the day. And eventually, the clouds drift from the fluffy white cotton balls of the day into a fierce fire-like hue.

Our mind is like a cloudy sky: in essence clear and pure, but overcast by clouds of delusions. Just as the thickest clouds can disperse, so, too, even the heaviest delusions can be removed from our mind. –  Kelsang Gyatso
