Growing up, I enjoyed eating chicken. I really do. Even now. But what I don’t enjoy was when mum asked me to kill the chicken. I never did.
At first, they thought I was just a stubborn child until they realised that I don’t even watch how it is killed because it gives me chills. Oh, it’s very true that I don’t have the guts to kill any chicken or even hurt anyone.
But one fact remains true – that I love fried chicken. I enjoy making tomato stew with it. Oh wow! I really love it when the chicken is served as food. And not to kill or pluck out the feathers.
Thank you.

Makes me remember how my mum made me pluck a chicken that had just been killed! I dunked it in boiling water (the smell!!!!😨)- then waited for 15 min- then had to pluck. After that- I had to gut the bloody thing. Oh my days- my dad saved me from ever having to do it again. Couldn’t eat chicken for 1 year😠

Haha! I can relate. I hated it but loved to chew the tasty stuff after marinading and cooking it. Lol. But here in Europe, chickens are all cleaned out and not many people know that the feathers were already plucked before they are displayed in the stores.
