Words Can Kill…

Words can kill and negative criticism sucks. Sometimes, we are filled with sobering emotions and rudely shocked with others utterances against us. I mean, spoken words targeted to crush and demean a person’s worth. Negative words or criticisms pierce the heart and hurt badly especially when they are thrown from close associates… Be it in the form of jokes or direct insults, they breed hate, spite and gloom.

Harsh and unhealthy words break and mar or diminish a person’s personality. I think people should guide and watch their utterances before they kill or reduces a person’s enthusiasm for life. These cruel words… in whichever guises they are projected become poisons that erode the burning flames of hope in others.

And the speakers never truly understand the magnitude of their careless actions forgetting that words are powerful negative or positive. I try as much as possible to guide my tongue, ‘cos I know how I feel when hurtful words are unleashed.

Think before you say those harsh words. Think before you intentionally hurt someone’s feeling.  Don’t be an emotional vampire.

Peace and Love!

  1. so much truth dear friend!
it reminds me of a great quote— problem is not what you say but how you say it! if we have to draw someones attention towards a wrong doing then it can be done without any harsh feelings too!
    have a nice day ahead!

    love and light ❤

  2. I totally agree.. This is so true… Let us try and change this from our end… Even if it can change the life of one person, let’s try and be nice to whoever we talk to…

    Beautiful post…
