Dear Girl Child…!

Just because you are a girl, the society might try to stifle your dreams and goals. But you’ve got to stand up and say no to any limitations and restrictive mold they may want to force you into.

I know it’s hard to be a girl sometimes but you’ve got to be strong. You’ve got to know that you are created by God to be a voice in this world. To achieve greatness and rule your world. You are born to be a winner. And you’ve got all the tools within you to achieve this height. You are smart. You are intelligent. You are unique. You are exceptional. You are phenomenal.  And you are beautiful.

So let nothing hinder you from reaching your set goals. Make education your priority. Stand up and ask questions when you need to know more. Ask questions when you need to know why? Ask questions when you get confused along the paths. Ask questions when you seek answers. Never be afraid to ask questions.

Don’t be bullied into silence. Don’t be afraid to raise your voice when you need to speak out. Never allow anyone to silence your voice. Resist any attempt to intimidate you. Any attempt to kill your enthusiasm. To kill your curiosity. Resist any attempt to subjugate you and your visions. Resist any attempt to trade you for an early marriage. Resist any attempt to make you a sexual slave.  Stand up and fight for your rights. Fight for your survival. Speak out and say no to rape or any sexual molestations. You’ve got the rights to speak out. So raise your voice.

I heard you say you want to be a Lawyer. An Engineer. A Doctor. A Professor. A Teacher. A Fashion Designer. An Entrepreneur. A Nurse. A Dentist. And I heard you say there are too many challenges and hurdles staring you in the face. Oh Yes. The road to success is not easy. Sometimes you may want to give up when you feel exhausted. Other times you may be discouraged by oppositions.

But NEVER quit.  Never ever quit the struggle to achieve your dreams.

Stay determined and persistent with your goals.  Be ambitious. Be dedicated. Be resilient. Stay focused and nurture those dreams. Stay informed and stay well.

Did I hear you say you want to be a winner? And. Rule. The world?

YES. This also is possible. If you think it. Then, it’s achievable.

Dear Girl Child. Follow Your Passion. Be Empowered to Greatness.

If you think it. It is achievable.

Stand up.  And. Stand. Tall.

Go, etch your name in the distinguished Book of Winners and Champions.

For you are BORN to be GREAT and to do EXPLOITS.

Born to WIN.

Born to RULE.

    1. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. Indeed, the girl child has been stereotyped and stigmatized for too long. I’m glad for the ongoing awareness and advocacies to uplift and change these narratives that act as limitations to the progress of women in the developing Nations as well as in the world. It’s been a long road to freedom… Well, just this morning, I nominated you for the same challenge. I’m not sure you got the pingback. But I will continue the challenge and include your name from tomorrow. 🙂

      1. I’m in the middle of it. Probably I’ll just finish what I’m doing. I’m helping my daughter to take care of the new baby so I’m actually behind. Thank you for thinking about me! Would you like to do it the second round or prefer not to?
