He is thrilled by their intelligence and behaviours as he keenly watches the corvids flap their wings and pick food off his hands. Feeding the Rooks has helped to redirect his thoughts from the misfortune that has befallen him. Sadly, nature isn’t always blissful nor pretty.

While meandering around the neighbourhood on a cold winter evening, he stumbled on the black-birds. He consistently feeds them to his own admiration and oh, he is wary but enjoys their presence.

He loves his new reality and still can’t get the image off his mind.  A well-constructed bird feeding station preoccupies his deep thoughts.

PS: I’ve been away from this challenge since May. It feels good to return to it.  All thanks to Sonya
