Random Act Of Kindness – 2

Kindness is an act that always has a resounding effect. Often times, kindness is a spontaneous act. The thoughts come off just like that and we find ourselves doing little things for others. Spontaneity is a good way to show kindness. And it could be anything. Random acts of kindness just come to you at the moment when the opportunity arises and this could be anywhere and with strangers.

So as we go about our daily businesses, there may be the need to throw kindness around like confetti. Just do it for that stranger, for that colleague, for that neighbour, for that kid on the street, for that person who needs a little help. Say those kind words, pay compliments to people as you engage in interactions with them.

One kind word can change someone’s day especially if the person was having a bad day already. Your presence at that moment can brighten the person’s world. Be the reason someone smile today. Be the one who makes someone laugh today. Be the reason someone ate a good meal today. Rekindle hope again in someone by your simple act of compassion.

The act of kindness starts with simple things,  a compliment or a smile. This takes just a simple gesture and it takes just one person to spread the act.

It takes one person and that one person could be you today.

Step out today and engage in one random act of kindness.

On my part, I like to pay compliments. And around me, when I notice someone is upset or moody, I try to find the reason for such foul demeanour. And I offer words of encouragement. Most times, I send inspirational messages and quotes to those around me who I know are going through difficult moments.

It takes:

One compliment, one smile, one kind act, one person.

Thank you.

Peace and Love!
