About

I am wonderfully and fearfully made.  I will describe myself as pretty eclectic.  A mix of different things. A little bit of this and that.

I am a woman, a daughter, a sister and a dear friend.  I recently began to write. I believe that qualifies me to call myself a writer too.  Well, I am evolving daily and learning new things.

In this journey called Life, I have experienced life situations which was nothing like I imagined. What am I saying? I am trying to point out here that life is a big mystery.  Life happens and you never know. I have experienced highlights and tons of challenges. And I have my scattered thoughts here and there. I am trying at this point to string together all the disconnected dots in my life and tie them with a strong band.

Hey, before I bore you, my name is Stella. I am blessed with an MA in International Studies from Denmark – a beautiful country that has since become home to me.

Welcome to my small space in this big wide world.  My life is not the most amazing one neither is it the most boring. For a long time, I had the urge to write but I didn’t listen to myself.  I was busy romancing other voices that were emitting negative vibes and instilling fear in me.

A time comes when you realise that you have to face your fears and tell your own story.  A time to be bold and daring.

I am at that crossroad now and there is no turning back.  I have reached that point when I need to speak out or forever remain quiet.

Giggles and Tales debuted to enable me document some of my daily quirks and twists. I am here to pen down memories that stream into my mind refusing to let go.  And the echoes from the corners of the world as well as my poetic instincts.  Life has been benevolent and has afforded me the opportunity to experience diverse cultures through my vast travels.  These different cultural shocks will reflect in my writings.

I am here to inspire and motivate you to embrace the life you have always imagined. You will realise that you can design and sculpt your own life and follow your passions.

And one more thing. Expect many more surprises!  Oh yes, I am not telling this one. That is my little secret for you to discover. Haha!

Do you want to look in the mirror and love the person looking back at you?

Then Relax, take a peek and see the world from the lenses of my ramblings. I hope you find something that speaks to you in my blog.

Sincerely,

Stella.

    1. Haha! You’re welcome. And I think you are one of those people who are wonderfully made and quite interesting too. I can attest that from your post and this comment. 🙂 So yes, here’s to all of us… lol. Have a wonderful season and thank you so much for stopping by. Cheers.

  2. I read your post about the frailty of life – so sad for her but not your responsibility – you are a shining light and you are clearly a kind and thoughtful girl – you kindly liked my Privacy story which I should have given much more attention to – it is an old story to me, quaint, though it is.
You can write and you have the ability to transport people through your words.
Please see that you have an offering to share – it is valuable!
I feel like a hypocrite having rushed out my Privacy story – normally I write far more consciously – your consciousness will add value in places which will surprise you!
    Namaste!

    1. Hi Edward, Aawww, I feel so humbled by your kind words. Really, your comment is very encouraging and I feel inspired that my writings carry some clout in them. I read your post and found it very interesting. And I also enjoyed the humour with the cool response from the seemingly innocent Josh at the end. I enjoy reading short stories and I think your blog has some good stuffs that will pique my interest. Your visit is very much appreciated. Thank you. 🙂

      1. Hey Stella, kind of you to reply!
My writings are a bit scattered across the things which prick my conscious and conscience.
I write about artists,( especially ones whom I know/have known), photography and photographers (did a couple on drones and now doing underwater – my planet wonderful/conscious theme), politics (am appalled at the USA right now – the most dangerous nation on earth – and not because of Trump!) and humour and stories and behaviour and loads of stuff – I am not your disciplined stick to your subject blogger – I write because I want to, not because I am trying to please a market!
        I am also writing a book … a novel.
I publish here and in steemit.com where you get paid for your content if people like it – the first sizeable social media site to do this – they use their own version of bitcoin to do this.
        I am rambling … a bad habit.
        Very warm wishes to you
        Edward

  3. Hi Stella, First, thank you for liking my blog on privacy. After reading your”About Page” it seems we are here for pretty much the same reason. Although it’s been a little tough again lately my goal was to enlighten and encourage others through some of my experiences. My other goal, the main one, was to let it out of me, I’m doing that in bits and pieces as I share stories and poems about experiences in my life. I hope you are gaining the knowledge and understanding of your own self, as much as I am. What a difference writing has made in my life. I encourage you to continue. It’ll get tough at times but keep going. I am anxious to read more of yours. Please stop by my blog again and hit on a few of my back stories. Thanks again.

I enjoyed reading your post and indeed, writing is a way of letting out my experiences as I try to inspire and encourage others to understand the realities of existence and to embrace the life they want without further delay. Thank you for the follow. Now, that we are connected, I look forward to learning from your wealth of experience as you share them. Blessings to you. 🙂

  5. Hi Stella, I think you can call yourself a writer with great confidence. The reason being, I like this sentence so much. ” I was busy romancing other voices that were emitting negative vibes and instilling fear in me.” That is a great observation of a common problem that we all have. You have conveyed it very beautifully.

    1. Aawww… Thank you so very much. Your comment is heartwarming and I deeply appreciate it. Isn’t fear one of the major killers of dreams? It hides destinies and I’m happy that through writing, information is spread and awareness is being created about the ways that fear inhibit people from embracing their dreams. You know, I was happy to see your post on my reader…’Cos I tried visiting your site a couple of weeks back but the link was not responding and I wondered if the photo challenge was still ongoing. Glad to hear from you. 🙂

  7. Stella, I love that you are here and telling your own story. One of my favorite Rumi quotes goes something like, “Close your eyes. Fall in love. Stay there.” 🙂 You have a beautiful presence.

    Be in touch anytime!
    Blessings,
