Good Morning World!

This last weekend, I was scavenging some old files and dairies as well as old emails from when I first got a Yahoo mail account.

Guess what I found?

I ran through some very old email exchanges with friends from as far back as 2004.

I tell you, there were all kinds of exchanges. Some cringe-worthy stuff in there.  Some are wonderful and lovely birthday greetings. Some were simply letters. And some were internet birthday greeting cards. Continue reading “Good Morning World!”

There Are No Guarantees!

The TRUTH is:

LIFE can be messy.

And LOVE can be messy.

Life and Love can mess you up.

There are no guarantees!

You never know where the road leads. You might have great plans for the future. You might have great plans for your life. You might have great plans for your love life, your relationship and your marriage.

But no matter the plans to make life AWEmazing and Wonderful and Loving, you can’t change what the future holds or what lies ahead.

No. You. Can’t.

Hard as you try, you can’t prevent the unexpected surprises that tug at humanity.

And life ends abruptly.

And the spark in love dims and fades unceremoniously.

Life and love cease, ends, at the slightest…provocation. At the slightest mistake.

We don’t know what the future has in store for us, even after trying everything humanly possible to have a good future.

Only God can accurately tell what the future holds for us.

So what goes?

Simple.

Just live in the moment.

Bask in the euphoria of the moment and the times you have to spend with your family and loved ones.

Make it memorable.

Make it interesting.

Make it significant.

Make it unforgettable.

Make it endearing.

Make it passionate.

Make it a worthy experience for everyone.

Why not create quality time this weekend and spend the nights singing lullabies to your kids, playing hide and seek with them and just jumping and running all over the house in sheer delight.

Why not rekindle the spark of love with him/her, kissing, holding hands, looking at each other’s eyes, whispering sweet nothings to the ears of your partner, and just lounging in pure bliss and ecstasy, singing the music of love as you dance in harmony into the dark night.

Live.

Love.

That is Life.

Happy weekend, Everyone.

Peace and Love!

Devotional Nuggets – #81

For the Christian Family, Prayer is very important to our lives. And it should be a lifestyle already. A prayer is an invaluable tool… teaching your child (ren) how and why they should pray is important to their growth and development.

The Bible tells us that we should Pray without ceasing…. So, prayer can be likened to oxygen… A necessary tool for life. A part of an effective living.  Pray on the go. Pray always. Continue reading “Devotional Nuggets – #81”

The Daily Prompt – Priceless!

I had a busy day today. And just when I turned on my PC to have a sneak peek at my blog and the WP blogosphere,  this below photo of Mark and his cutie newborn daughter, August, popped on my Facebook Newsfeed. I quickly liked it and left a comment on Mark’s post.

Now, you can imagine my feelings when I saw today’s daily prompt few minutes later. I just smiled and said to myself – “Surely, I will not dwell long on this as I already got an answer”. So I went back to Facebook and the rest is what you see here.  Continue reading “The Daily Prompt – Priceless!”

Wordless Wednesday!

It’s mid-week! Yeah, it’s another Wednesday when pictures speak for themselves. Does this picture speak to you?

This photo is a friend’s son recently. His Mother was lost for words seeing what he did with the flour she was going to use for her baking that day. We couldn’t let the scene get lost so we took photos. And she gave me permission to use the shots on my blog.  Continue reading “Wordless Wednesday!”
