Happy New Year!

 

I wanted to start 2019 on a positive frequency here but hard as I tried to write something on my blog, my willpower failed me.

It’s been some weeks since I scribbled on this blog. My non-activity and lack of posts are quite glaring. And I have no plausible reason to stay away from posting stuff.

There are days I open this blog, scroll through the pages, read a few blog posts from other bloggers and simply just move away. It’s not for a lack of story to share or for lack of photos to post.

As a matter of fact, there are a chunk of my travel diaries to dig into and a truckload of photos of my trip to Nigeria to sort through and share for you, my dear friends.

But I guess, I lacked the strength to stay on course. My writing energy went to sleep these past weeks. No reason or excuse is good enough.  Perhaps, it was just a mix of everything that holds one from accomplishing their goals. I’ve been busy thinking about writing, writing a few stories and failing to share them here.

And then the Christmas season came

And now it’s 2019.

Oh wow!

Kindly, do not give up on me.

I truly hope that you do not give up on me.

It’s a tad late now to say “Happy New Year” since the year is already on its 15^th day.  Regardless, I must still do the needful as I begin my presence on this platform again.

Better late than never.

The Month of November!

The month of November ushers us into the inevitable change in weather when it’s going to get colder, darker, rainy and wet, and probably with flurries of snow. Then boom comes winter in its full glare! The month of November is significant and it holds different meanings for different people. For some, it is a birth month and for the Americans, it’s a month of Thanksgiving. In the Christian religious calendar, different commemorations and celebrations are held in November.

Devotional Nuggets – #92

 

It’s another great day that the Lord has made and I rejoice to be among the living. Only those people with breath can sing, can shout, can think, can dance, and can praise the Lord.

Today is September 2, and I just want to say thank you, Jesus, for another month when I add another year to my age. Life hasn’t been an easy terrain but you have been steadfast in your faithfulness.
