Girls Are Making A Difference…!

Oh yes, Nigeria school girls win the Gold Medal in World Technovation Challenge in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, United States two days ago. About 115 countries participated in the qualifiers but only 12 teams from all over the world were selected as finalists for the pitch in Silicon Valley.

Musings From Russia 2018!

It’s time to hang up World Cup appearance by Nigerian Super Eagles. The team recorded a lackadaisical performance in this World Cup. So it’s goodbye to Nigeria from Russia 2018.

Nigeria lost to Croatia at the opening match. They went ahead to beat Iceland in their second match. And same Iceland beat Argentina. But Messi was plotting his way for the match with Nigeria yesterday. Indeed, he brought his A-game against Nigeria. And again, for the 4^th time in the history of the World Cup, the Super Eagles succumbed to Argentina in the World Cup.

Change Coming Soon…!

Change is inevitable if one desires growth in life. Change is the only constant thing and we shouldn’t fight it when it comes. Moreover, we experience this change each day as we wake up. At least we add another day to our age.

The saying goes thus that when you take noble steps towards your goals, your opportunities in life are amplified

For me, it’s a day to stay indoors in spite of the sunshine outside. I’ve got to tidy the house and do my laundry. So it’s house cleaning day for me. Haha.

We’ve been having a glowing party here with the sun. We had a beautiful weather in the month of May and I hope June stays that way too. So, welcome to the summer months going forward… 🙂

I Hate Goodbyes… Daily Prompt!

But Goodbyes must come.

So, I read yesterday that this month of May brings an end to the Daily Post, Daily Prompts and Photo Challenges. Oh, wow! This brings an end to the daily plethora of written ideas in different genres, submitted by WordPress bloggers.

In April, I applauded the fantastic writing initiative by WordPress which brings together wonderful bloggers as they converge under one umbrella. Little did I know that the cherished activities that nurtured my evolution as a newbie blogger two years ago were slowly exiting the scene. 

The Daily Prompt – Vague!

It was a fatal accident and Peter suffered a severe brain injury. He could vaguely remember seeing a car coming towards him that Thursday evening.

He tried to narrate the ugly incidence to those around him, after three days, when he finally came out of a coma in the hospital. But, alas, his family were hit with his decline in memory.
