  1. Amalienborg!!!!!! I went to see the change of guard twice… Once during my first trip in May, and I stayed through the whole thing. I realized how crazy I was when I went to see it again with my best friend in February. She enjoyed the show for about 15 minutes, and then she offered to walk to the Marble Church lol

Thanks for sharing the pictures 😉

Have a great week 🙂 xx

    1. Aha…You must have good pictures of the noble event. I stumbled on them once and couldn’t locate the photos in my archives. Oh yes, your February visit. I had a lull here then but I know you enjoyed the Danish hospitality and hygge. And your Christmas candle will still get to you in the near future… ha… knus. 🙂 🙂

  2. Nice when it´s ceremonial. We enjoy that sort of thing very much in the UK as well.
I´m currently translating a war novel by Sven Hassel, one of Denmark´s most prolific writer, into German. Uniforms and army discipline meant something so very different to those poor lost men at the Front. An unspeakable curse.
    How times Have changed.
    Thank God!!

    1. It’s interesting to know about your current work. Wow! To translate Danish to German sounds like a big task to me. You must be well grounded in both languages to do so. Best wishes with that. And thanks for sharing your thoughts on the post. I appreciate. 🙂
